Larrie FERREIRO

Dr. Larrie D. Ferreiro est architecte naval et historien américain. Il a été formé comme constructeur naval britannique. Dans le cadre d'un programme d'échange avec le US Navy, il a été architecte naval chez DCN Ingénierie (aujurd'hui Naval Group) de 1994 à 1996. Il est l'auteur de Ships and Science: The Birth of Naval Architecture in the Scientific Revolution, 1600-1800, et de Bridging the Seas: The Rise of Naval Architecture in the Industrial Age, 1800-2000, MIT Press. Il était également finaliste du Pulitzer Prize 2017 en Histoire, pour son livre Brothers at Arms: American Independence and the Men of France and Spain Who Saved It, récemment publié en traduction en Espagne.
