Jing WANG
Jing Wang (Ms) is a PhD candidate in anthropology at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris. With an educational background in history, literature and arts, her work focuses on the history and evolution of Asia's cultural and ritual heritage in contemporary society, such as ancestor worships, UNESCO intangible heritage culture, and Asian migrants in France. Through her numerous publications and ethnographic films in international academic journals, such as (editorial article links) L’Homme, cArgo, Gradhiva, Review Modes Pratiques, European Review of International migrations, ethnographiques.org, she tends to describe and analyze how Chinese and Asian diasporas in Europe try to keep their historical practices, ritual transformation and cultural institutionalization in a migratory context. She also worked as specialist in different international organizations as Musée du quai Branly, Ministry of Culture, European Asia Masterpieces Collection Network and UNESCO.
