PREITE Massimo

Massimo Preite is Professor of Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture at the University of Florence, Board member of The International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage (TICCIH) and Board member of European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH). He has coordinated numerous projects for the redevelopment of the mining and industrial heritage in Italy and Europe. He is the author of numerous publications, including Da Miniera a Museo, il recupero dei siti minerari dismessi in Europa (Florence, 2000), Paesaggi industriali del Novecento (Florence, 2006) and Masterplan, the Development of the Mining Landscape (2009), Towards a European Heritage of Industry, 2014.
